LIBBY ATWATER
Choose Your Words
Ever since I was a child, I've loved hearing people's stories. Although each tale is unique, all share common themes and experiences.
As a journalist and teacher, I've been privileged to hear the stories of many interesting individuals through the years. Some were famous, but most were ordinary people with extraordinary tales. Each assignment presented a challenge-to tell the story accurately while seeing beyond the obvious and capturing the person's essence.
As a personal historian, I help others tell their tales and preserve them for posterity through personal and family history books, which I write and/or edit; oral histories; ethical wills; corporate legacy statements; and life writing classes.
I am happy to speak to groups and organizations who would like to learn more about preserving legacies and how my services can help them.

SUSAN TURNBULL
YOUR ETHICAL WILL
I am a former journalist and bring my skills of careful questioning, perceptive listening and sensitive writing to the process of creating ethical wills for clients who would prefer to "talk through" their thoughts rather than face the tasks of writing and editing themselves. In a series of taped conversations, clients respond to a tailored set of open ended questions. I then draft a document accurately reflecting content and tone. In addition to providing this individualized service I present workshops and speak to a wide variety of audiences.
