Founding principal of Rehl Financial Advisors: a fee-only financial planning firm
"Helping you enjoy a better life, richer in all respects"
Kathleen assists individual clients to participate in a "life-centered" approach to holistic financial planning including legacy planning that involves more than just passing on your "stuff." She encourages clients and others to create an ethical will along with their traditional legal documents.
An ethical will can be a wonderful gift that family and friends may cherish for many years. It's a great supplement to one's legal will or trust. Kathleen also leads "Preserve Memories and Share the Voice of Your Heart through an Ethical Will" workshops sponsored by congregations and various groups.

SUSAN TURNBULL
YOUR ETHICAL WILL
I am a former journalist and bring my skills of careful questioning, perceptive listening and sensitive writing to the process of creating ethical wills for clients who would prefer to "talk through" their thoughts rather than face the tasks of writing and editing themselves. In a series of taped conversations, clients respond to a tailored set of open ended questions. I then draft a document accurately reflecting content and tone. In addition to providing this individualized service I present workshops and speak to a wide variety of audiences.

Lasting Legacies
Keeping your values, stories, and wisdom alive for future generations.
Every human life is a rich source of stories, lessons learned,
and wisdom that is worth sharing with others. Each of us
creates a personal legacy of the life we have lived.
Lasting Legacies is an advisory service which helps you answer:
-
What
personal legacy
are you leaving to future
generations of your family and to your community?

What
values
are you passing on to your loved ones?
-
In your daily life, what
matters
most to you?
-
What
family stories
do you want to be remembered?
-
What do you want your loved ones to know about the
life you have lived?
We help you create a legacy of your lifetime in the form of
an
ethical will or personal legacy letter
to pass on to future
generations of your family.
Classes and workshops are offered as well as individual
guidance by phone and e-mail. Please contact Todd for

The Wisdom Box...A Legacy of Love
The Wisdom Box is a treasure box filled with love, joy, wisdom, and life lessons to be passed on from one generation to next. It can be used as a communication tool, to learn about and share your family history; to open up communication between generations; and to leave a legacy which reflects your personal values.
The Starter Kit includes a 7.5" by 9.5" by 3" box, with a brass latch for easy closure, a perfect-bound, 110 page journal, four note cards, and an instruction booklet with suggestions on what to include in it. You get to choose how you want to decorate the outside...decoupage, stickers, photos, etc.
For the creator of the box, it's a way of sharing and validating your life, and for the receiver, it's a gift of love.
